Sir George, Kitchen Refurbishment

Fore Group delivered the refurbishment of the heritage-listed Sir George Hotel's commercial kitchen for Sir George Operating, completing the 90sqm fitout within a compressed four-week program while the hotel remained open and operational. The existing kitchen was relocated to a temporary facility, allowing the business to continue trading at reduced capacity throughout construction. With the hotel in active use, program management was critical to minimising impacts on trade, supported by public protection measures including hoarding and coordinated noise restrictions. Existing services were reconfigured to suit the new kitchen layout, with heritage elements carefully protected throughout the works. Careful coordination of trades, material deliveries and workflows in a regional location ensured the project was delivered on time, returning the client to full kitchen operations as quickly as possible.
