The Commonwealth Club

Fore Group delivered the refurbishment of Commonwealth Club's bar and dining area, transforming a former meeting room and storage spaces into a larger, refreshed hospitality environment. Conceived as an extension of the Club's restaurant offering, the new space gives patrons a more casual setting to enjoy a drink and a light meal during their visit. The works included removing structural brick walls and installing new structural members to open up the floor plan, creating room for a new bar, back-of-house facilities, dining areas and a feature fireplace. A neutral, contemporary palette paired with high-end finishes brings a pristine, refined feel to the space, one that still complements the established character of the Club. Delivered within a fully operational venue, the works were carefully coordinated to keep the Club running as usual, with all service shutdowns scheduled outside operating hours to avoid any disruption to patrons.
