The RUC Turner Bowls Club

Set in the leafy surrounds of Turner with a beautiful view of Black Mountain, The RUC has a full range of offerings including bar, bistro, TAB, gaming room, ATMs, parking, bowling greens, and sun deck. The RUC with TSA Project Management engaged Fore Group as an ECI / Managing Contractor to undertake the staged refurbishment of the existing facilities to support current and future operational requirements. Designed by Capezio Copeland, the scope of works included extensive demolition to the internal areas of the club, with a new gaming area, outdoor decking, toilets, and sports bar to be installed, along with refurbishments to the main dining areas and refacing of the existing bar and fireplace. This project also called for commercial kitchen upgrades to be completed, along with the installation of new fridge and freezer cool rooms. The works were staged to minimise disruption and create operational efficiencies during the construction period. The works were undertaken across 4 stages, allowing ongoing operations and minimised disruption for the patrons of the club.
