Australian Unity Herston Office Fit Out

Australian Unity engaged Fore Group to carry out an office and events space fit out at the historic Herston Quarter. A time-critical programme and heritage listed building meant that careful consideration and planning were deeply embedded into Fore’s construction methodology. The new fit out was required to house the Australian Unity business units within one tenancy, while also being a showcase of Australian Unity and the precinct. The new fit out allows the ability to host functions and large meetings, as well as function as a day-to-day office. The warm modern feel compliments Australian Unity’s brand without steering away from the heritage elements that make the fit out unique. As the building is heritage listed, associated risks were overcome ensuring compliance with heritage guidelines and planning with key trade partners and consultants.
