Lytton Distribution Centre, Water Tank replacement

Goodman Property together with CBRE engaged Fore Group as construction partner to undertake the new Water Tank works at the Lytton Distribution Centre. The project scope included installation of a new 388,000L Fire Sprinkler Panel Tank with new concrete slab, ultrasonic water meter, stormwater pipework, relocation of the existing external fire hydrant to a new compliant location and removal and makegood of the existing Fire Sprinkler Panel Tank and any redundant items. The redundant old tanks were decommissioned after the new tank was installed with successful changeover. Fore Group minimised down-time and potential disruptions by staging the works with complete stakeholder buy-in. Complete project safety and risk control was implemented to ensure the safety of all during these high risk works, noting services modifications, traffic management, working at heights and the transition between the old and new tanks to be the major risks of this project.
