The Alby Bar

Engaged by DOMA Group, Fore Group delivered the Alby Bar and Restaurant in late 2021. Spanning across two floors, this 1000m2 gastropub includes multiple bars and dining areas, a beer garden, and Australia’s first Duckpin Bowling alley located in the basement. Fore Group was engaged as Construction Manager, working collaboratively with key trades and consultants during pre-construction, identifying buildability and supply issues which ensured all project programme and budget targets were achieved. Designed by Capezio Copeland, the interiors include a mix of brass, timber, and concrete, coming together to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for patrons to relax in. Located on a busy pedestrian thoroughfare, foot traffic was managed during construction through traffic controls, spotters, traffic management plans and way-finding signage.
