Challenger Investment Partners together with Dowse Projects engaged Fore Group to undertake the staged building refurbishment works within 14 Childers Street (NAB Building). Levels 1 and 3 had been vacated and required stripping out of the existing fit outs back to a warm shell, ready for future prospective tenants. On floor lift lobbies and amenities on Levels 1 and 3 were also refurbished to provide clean and modern facilities for each tenancy to utilise. Additional refurbishment works were undertaken to activate the main lobby on the ground floor, providing a meeting and collaboration area for the tenants. Passive fire rectification upgrade works also took place across the entire building. As the building is tenanted and located within a busy area of the CBD adjacent to the Federal Courts, Fore Group considered all stakeholders and the surrounding community during construction. Through proactive and transparent tenant liaison and undertaking all noisy and disruptive works out of business hours, Fore Group were able to seamlessly deliver the works without disruption.
