Fore Group was contracted by DOMA Group to oversee the refurbishment of the existing Lilotang restaurant, situated at the base of the Burbury Hotel, into their latest culinary venture, MED. The project aimed to demolish the existing 300sqm restaurant while salvaging and reusing existing services where feasible, culminating in a premium fitout that contributes to DOMA Hotel Group's renowned luxury dining offerings in Barton. MED's design was entrusted to the expertise of Sydney-based design firm Luchetti Krelle. The scope of works included the creation of custom banquet seating, a distinctive recycled timber brick bar, intricate weathered driftwood ceiling detailing, and the installation of a bespoke off-centre pivot arched door, along with a refurbishment to the existing kitchen.
