Public Bar

Fore Group was engaged to undertake alterations and additions to Public Bar Manuka, enabling the venue to extend its operational capacity and offer more versatile patron experiences. The existing ground floor underwent extensive alterations to the bar, dining space and exterior works which enabled the flow into the new bar venue located on the first floor. Designed by Capezio Copeland, upstairs has an industrial luxe feel with a terrazzo bar, brass accent lights, curved wood tables and velvet and leather chairs and sofas. As minimised down-time for Public Bar was imperative, Fore Group undertook procurement and programme initiatives to allow the ground floor bar to remain operational as long as possible. The ground floor works commenced 2-3 weeks prior to completing the first-floor works, allowing a re-opening of the entire venue.
